Inner Peace

Let us begin by understanding that true inner peace is a precious gift from God and not something that we can achieve on our own.

During a time when Jesus’ disciples were greatly troubled and afraid, the Lord Jesus Christ gave them comfort according to the will of God the Father Almighty.  The Lord Jesus Christ spoke these words to them:

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you.  Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:27

The same applies to us today as we face great difficulties and obstacles in our daily lives.  If we ask, the Lord Jesus Christ will grant us His peace according to the will of God the Father Almighty.  Now remember that this is a very special precious gift that is only granted by God when he decides that we are truly ready and willing to receive and appreciate this extreme gift by expressing deep trust in Him.

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh recieveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Matthew 7:7-8

As we continue to grow in our relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, a deeper heartfelt trust begins to develop.  The more that we trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, the more He can take control over all areas of our lives.  Our goal in life should be to keep growing our trust and turning our will over to the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Lord will give strength unto his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace. Psalm 29:11

May you receive great blessings in your lives and open your hearts and souls to our most awesome, beloved Blessed Holy Heavenly Trinity.

The Lord bless thee, and keep thee; the Lord make his face shine upon thee.  And be gracious unto thee: The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace. Numbers 6: 24-26

Blessings,

Cheryl
